Learning a new flavor of Markdown

I am pretty sure I have this straight now, but you never know.

I dont know if this is working!

This is my first attempt at posting something to the new website! Wish me luck!

I’ll probably try a bunch of formatting things to try things out!

But the gist is it works now!

Thoughts

As I build this website I find myself really liking and hating the markdown. Its very finicky. Maybe if I find a good, dedicated editor, rather than Ubuntu’s built in “Text Editor” but at the moment I am struggling to do simple things like captions on images that are not just centered (but are floated left or right). And am having trouble implementing custom CSS to fix it.

Favicon

Ironically, even thought it is one of the articles written by the theme’s creator I am having difficulty getting the Favicon to update. Don’t know what that is? I didn’t either! its the little logo next to your page info on the tab in your browser. Mine should be this but because of cashing issues and website defaults it doesn’t load. I’ll add that to the problem for later category as its entirely style over substance and I have work to do.
